Introduction
This report provides a detailed update on Neftalyโs partnership with Ekurhuleni West TVET College under the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Programme for the month of November. The purpose of this report is to outline activities conducted, intern progress, challenges experienced, and improvement recommendations aimed at strengthening this partnership.
Partnership Overview
Neftaly continues to engage actively with Ekurhuleni West TVET College to support the placement of students for workplace learning. The goal of this partnership is to:
- Provide real-world work exposure for students;
- Enhance industry-academic collaboration;
- Improve student employability through practical skills development;
- Support Neftaly departments with additional capacity.
Throughout November, coordination between both institutions continued to ensure the successful implementation of the WIL programme.
Monthly Activities
Intern Placement and Support
- Neftaly reviewed the status of interns currently placed from Ekurhuleni West TVET College.
- Supervisors provided feedback on performance, attendance, and training needs.
