Description
The Senior Suite Ambassador assists the Rooms Division Manager in managing the day-to-day delivery of housekeeping services in all guest suites and In-Suite Dining, ensuring a flawless approach to creating memorable and personalized experiences for the guests. This position oversees and actively manages the daily activities of the Suite Ambassadors and In-Suite Dining services, achieving guest satisfaction scores as provided by the company and in compliance with Forbes Hospitality Standards. He/she ensures all activities are executed in accordance with the Standard Operating Manuals and company’s Policies and Procedures.

Essential Duties
- Assists the Rooms Division Manager in managing the Housekeeping team and shares the responsibility for the front of house operation. Responsible for all Suite Ambassador and In-Suite Dining services.
- Creates positive, memorable experiences for guests and anticipates their needs and expectations through an interactive communication. Ensures that all guest concerns, enquiries and requests are recorded, followed up and addressed immediately, guarantying total guest satisfaction.Â
- Takes the initiative to interact with Ladies and Gentlemen to identify their needs and ensures all expectations are met and exceeded within the parameters of the Standard Operating Procedures. Â
- Oversees In-Suite Dining services and ensure complete guest satisfaction. Monitors and verifies in the system and with the Suite Ambassadors ensures that In-Suite Dining orders are delivered without delay as per guest requests, in particular for breakfast orders.
- Assists in managing all operating budgets and administrative tasks for the department and supports in the review of all future orders for consumables and housekeeping OS&E. Participates in the creation of fiscal year budgets where requested.
- Enforces strict Public Health practices and follows United States Public Health (USPH) standards within the housekeeping department at all times, including but not limited to cleaning and maintenance, temperature recording, store organization, self-inspections and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Takes the lead in implementing departmental Public Health Inspections as needed to stay ahead of all Public Health compliance.
- Assists in managing the Outbreak Prevention and Response Plan (OPRP) for the Housekeeping department and supports the Rooms Division Manager in case of an outbreak. Ensures that all training for Public Health is constantly embraced throughout all elements of the operation.
- Executes physical inventories and inventory spot checks with the housekeeping as instructed by the Rooms Division Manager and as per inventory schedule. Strives to minimize inventory levels while ensuring sufficient stock levels to operate the department smooth. Consistently works with the team to minimize waste, breakage and wear and tear.
- Inspects all suites and front of house areas as instructed by the Rooms Division Manager frequently conducting internal Brand Standard Audits (BSA), Forbes Audits, and ensures all areas of responsibility are compliant with Standard Operating Procedures and in accordance with marine safety regulations.
- Responds to problems quickly and efficiently with a problem solving, proactive attitude. Communicates and records any challenges to the supervisor and escalates conflict resolution as necessary.
- Cooperates with the Laundry Manager to ensure impeccable and efficient laundry services for all guests. Ensures accurate charges as well as that claims are handled to the utmost guest satisfaction. Â
- Partners with onboard Guest Services, Finance and Human Resources to address any damages to guest and employee clothing that occurred during the laundry service. Escalates issues that cannot be resolved to the supervisor and ensures incidents are reported in the Guest Log.
- Assists the Rooms Division Manager in managing permanent and temporary floral arrangements in Suites. Â
- Creates and monitors maintenance requests for non-functional equipment and any other topics affecting the housekeeping and laundry operation and ensures problems are resolved in an acceptable timeframe and escalates delays to the supervisor.
- Ensures the entire team is aware of incoming guest preferences, loyalty status (Marriott BonVoy), VIP status, Gift Orders and any other voyage related information.  Â
- Assists with random spot checks of all suites on embarkation day as per onboard procedures and routing schedule.
- Ensures that guest preferences are delivered and executed as recorded in the CRM system. Executes changes to recorded preferences or enters new preferences as per guests request and according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
People Management
- Model and hold others accountable for promoting the Gold Standards, respect and fair treatment.
- Ensures the Daily execution of Line-up in accordance with company standards and Brand Guidelines.Â
- Sets the department’s expectations for desired behavior, knowledge and skill levels.
- Coaches others by providing constructive feedback; helps others identify developmental needs and monitors progress; promoting an environment where everyone is valued and included.
- Demonstrates alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives while ensuring alignment throughout the yacht organization.
- Executes or organizes training for individuals or groups to further the skills, knowledge and service standards in cooperation with the Human Resources department. Reviews periodically the progress of the teams LMS activities and tests if the theoretical knowledge is applied in practice.
Qualifications
- Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position.
- Very good knowledge and experience in Housekeeping and In-Suite Dining operations. Advanced understanding of processes and procedures in the Cruise and Hotel industry, including inventory management, operating budgets and audit procedures.Â
- Very good knowledge and experience in Public Health rules and regulations related to United States Public Health (USPH) and Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- Sound knowledge of Property Management, Point Of Sales and Inventory Management systems in the capacity of a power user. Advanced knowledge of guest facing systems such as interactive television and in suite tablets is preferred.
- Previous experience onboard a luxury cruise ship as an Ambassador Manager or similar role is required. In addition, experience in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office package or similar applications in particular Excel.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.

Description
The Rooms Division Manager ensures an impeccable delivery of Housekeeping and In-Suite Dining services yacht-wide and with a flawless approach to cleanliness in all guest suites and public areas. This key leadership position manages the entire Housekeeping Department onboard and is responsible for the services provided to guests as well as the Ladies and Gentlemen onboard the Yacht, achieving strong guest and employee satisfaction scores as provided by the company. He/she ensures all activities are executed in accordance with the Standard Operating Manuals and company’s policies and procedures as well as being compliant with international Public Health standards and labor laws and regulations. Owner of the Laundry and Floral Program onboard and driver of excellence throughout every aspect of these experiences. Â

Essential Duties
- Manages the Housekeeping and Laundry team and is responsible for the front and heart of house operation. Responsible for all In-Suite Dining, cleaning services, laundry operation, uniform and linen programs in suites, dining areas and employee cabins.
- Creates positive, memorable experiences for guests and anticipates their needs and expectations through an interactive communication. Ensures that all guest concerns, enquiries and requests are recorded, followed up and addressed immediately, guaranteeing total guest satisfaction and resolution.
- Takes the initiative to interact with Ladies and Gentlemen to identify their needs and ensures all expectations are met and exceeded within the parameters of the approved Standard Operating procedures. Oversees all suite and public area inspection programs to ensure maximum adherence to brand standards.
- Cooperates with the F&B Department and supports Room Service activities where possible and necessary to ensure a complete guest satisfaction.
- Manages all operating budgets and administrative tasks for the department in cooperation with the Housekeeping Manager and ensures that all future orders for consumables, flowers, housekeeping OS&E and laundry are properly executed by the Hotel Stores Manager. Participates in the creation of fiscal year budgets where requested and ensures the departmental delivery.
- Enforces strict Public Health practices and follows United States Public Health (USPH) standards within the housekeeping department including but not limited to food service, cleaning and maintenance, temperature recording, store organization, self-inspections and Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
- Responsible for the management of the Outbreak Prevention and Response Plan (OPRP) for the Housekeeping department and coordinates efforts with the executive team in case of an outbreak. Ensures total awareness throughout every level of the housekeeping team to Public Health initiatives.
- Executes physical inventories and inventory spot checks with the housekeeping and laundry team and in cooperation with the Financial Officer as per inventory schedule. Strives to minimize inventory levels while ensuring sufficient stock levels to operate the department smoothly. Consistently works with the team to minimize waste, breakage and wear and tear.
- Inspects all front and heart of house areas frequently conducting internal Brand Standard Audits (BSA) and Forbes Audits, and ensures all areas of responsibility are compliant with Standard Operating Procedures and in accordance with marine safety regulations and Forbes Hospitality standards.
- Responds to problems quickly and efficiently with a problem solving, proactive attitude. Communicates and records any challenges to the supervisor and escalates conflict resolution as necessary.
- Oversees the laundry operations of the Yacht and ensures impeccable and efficient laundry services for all guests and employees. Ensures accurate charges as well as that claims are handled to the utmost guest satisfaction and expediency.
- Manages permanent and temporary floral arrangements and decoration onboard the Yacht, ensures that the fresh flower program is executed according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitors that maintenance requests for non-functional equipment and any other topics affecting the housekeeping, In-Suite Dining and laundry operation, and ensures problems are resolved in an acceptable timeframe and communicates delays to his supervisor and the department head responsible to resolve the problems.
- Ensures the entire team is aware of incoming guest preferences, loyalty status (Marriott BonVoy), VIP status, Gift Orders and any other voyage related information.  Â
People Management- Model and hold others accountable for promoting the Gold Standards, respect and fair treatment.
- Ensures the Daily execution of Line-up in accordance with company standards and Brand Guidelines.
- Sets the department’s expectations for desired behavior, knowledge and skill levels.
- Coaches others by providing constructive feedback; helps others identify developmental needs and monitors progress; promoting an environment where everyone is valued and included.
- Demonstrates alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives while ensuring alignment throughout the yacht organization.
- Executes or organizes training for individuals or groups to further the skills, knowledge and service standards in cooperation with the Human Resources department. Reviews periodically the progress of the team’s LMS activities and tests if the theoretical knowledge is applied in practice.
Qualifications
- Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position.Â
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Housekeeping and Laundry operations. Full understanding of processes and procedures in the Cruise and Hotel industry, including inventory management, operating budgets and audit procedures.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Public Health rules and regulations related to United States Public Health (USPH) and Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- Very good knowledge of Property Management, Point of Sales and Inventory Management systems in the capacity of a power user.
- Previous experience onboard a cruise ship as an Rooms Division Manager or similar role required, in addition experience in a luxury hospitality environment is essential.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office package or similar applications in particular Excel.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems throughout the ship as directed by the Senior Refrigeration Engineer. In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Minimum of three (3) years prior experience repairing and maintaining refrigeration and HVAC Systems is required. The incumbent must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment; also, must be able to adjust to changes in schedules, assignments and deadlines. Must demonstrate willingness to learn and further their knowledge of onboard equipment and procedures.EDUCATION

In order to qualify for a MMC, applicants must demonstrate specific physical abilities necessary to perform shipboard duties per USCG guidelines (COMPDTPUB 16700.4 NVIC 04-8). Shall have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40.0 or less. Blood Pressure as per USCG a maximum 160/100.
NCLH International Flag: In addition to the above, NCLH requires the following for all crew members for all international flagged ships: Shall have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 35.0 or less. Blood Pressure as per USCG a maximum 140/90. The verifying medical practitioner doubts the applicant’s ability to successfully perform any of the following functions, a suitable practical demonstration is required for those functions. The verifying medical practitioner, in consultation with any other qualified practitioners he/she deems appropriate, determines whether a practical demonstration is necessary, and whether the applicant is physically competent or not physically competent. General Movement: · Is able to maintain a sense of balance without disturbance while walking and standing. · Is able to climb up and down vertical ladders and stairways. · Is able to step over a door sill or coming up to 24 inches in height. · Is able to move through a restricted opening of 24 inches by 24 inches. · Is able to open and close watertight doors that weigh up to 55 pounds. Must be able to move hands/arms in vertical and horizontal directions, rotate wrists and reach above shoulder height to turn handles. · Is able to repeatedly lift at least a 55 pound load off the ground, and to carry, push or pull the same load over a long distance (minimum of 150 feet) and up/down multiple staircases over a four hour period. · Is able to pull an un-charged 1.5 inch diameter, 50’ fire hose with nozzle to full extension, and to lift a charged 1.5 inch diameter fire hose to firefighting position. · Is physically able to put on a Personal Flotation Devise (PFD) without assistance from another individual. · Is capable of normal conversation in English. · Is able to intermittently stand on feet for up to four hours with minimal rest periods. · Must have no physical limitations that would hinder or prevent the performance of duties. · Must have no limitation of motion. Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As per SRE directives shall perform the cleaning schedule of galley, laundry, and launderette exhaust ducts, and shall ensure that all required and necessary cleaning routines properly executed. As per SRE directives shall perform maintenance of the HVAC plant, Engine Ventilation, the provisioning plant and related cold rooms, all refrigerated bar and galley equipment. Monitor/record the AC Chiller Units and Provision + and – Compressor Units once every 24 hours. Report to Sr. Refrigeration Engineer if anything irregular should occurs. Address and resolve cabin issues as directed trough the ECR/Front Desk, immediately inform the supervisor if unable to solve the cabin issue. Monitor the consumption of refrigerants closely and raise the alert if any irregular situation should occur. As per SRE directives, assist when testing galley local fire extinguishing systems. Delegate and distribute work for the Assistant Refrigeration Engineer and Refrigeration Repairman, including training and guiding. Responsible for periodic testing and maintenance of fire dampers and Gaylord systems. Must work closely with his supervisors when scheduling maintenance work on the HVAC plant in order to create a minimum level of discomfort for passenger and crew. Must be familiar with the safety management system, including applicable responsibilities in the safety organization according to the emergency plan and station bill. Will be assigned duties as directed by the department head. Initiates and maintains effective employee relations at all times. Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SMS, and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for the position.
