Become a subject matter expert on the Global Financial Control Framework (GFCF) with the ability to provide direction, insight and implementation assistance to the control stakeholders.2. Lead local change management of updates to documentation, processes, way of working as new internal standards or changes in the systems.3. Be familiar with supply chain finance activities as they relate to controls to provide direction when controls are being tested.5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support marketing and the IH/OH customer development strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including performance metrics, ROI analysis, and budget variance reports.
- Monitor and report on key financial KPIs related to marketing and customer development activities.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for Customer Development including TTS budget control, rebate & overdues management
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process Marketing for BMI & Trade spend.
- Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Track and analyze budget performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with marketing and customer development teams to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Provide financial guidance and support for marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic financial advice to drive business performance.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and control marketing and customer development expenditures.
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies without compromising business objectives.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews of marketing & CD initiatives to assess financial impact and effectiveness.
Strategic Planning:
- Support the development and execution of long-term strategic plans for marketing and customer development.
- Provide financial input into market analysis, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating new business opportunities and partnerships from a financial perspective.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and opportunities related to marketing and customer development activities.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures for core processes like spend approvals and balance sheet management of rebates.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
- Mentor and support junior finance team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, with a focus on business partnering, preferably in a marketing or customer development environment.

JOB PURPOSE:
Are you ready to make a significant impact on Market supply chain operations and gross margin delivery? As the Market Supply Chain Finance Lead, you will be at the heart of our supply chain strategy, driving efficiency and innovation.
Your role will encompass:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Drive Supply Chain Value creation agenda by leading performance and governance framework on end to end supply chain costs including Procurement, Production and Supply Chain Overheads
- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with supply chain leaders and finance teams to spearhead strategic initiatives/ network optimization.
- Performance Optimization: Utilize your expertise to optimize financial performance and support gross margin, savings delivery and fuel for growth programs. Govern supply chain capex and inventory management to deliver working capital targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner Market Supply Chain lead on all aspects of end-to-end supply chain costs, savings and transformation agenda
- Frame appropriate gross margin, costs, savings and cash targets for supply chain operations in the Market
- Drive S&OP rigour in plan to forecast processes, deliver forecast accuracy targets
- Provide clear analysis and insights of gross margin impacts versus prior year and forecast to drive actions
- Champion value creation projects on supply chain and drive fuel for growth programs, governance and tracking
- Drive governance of supply chain capex, develop business cases for make versus buy decisions, network optimization etc
- Partner Procurement lead on all aspects of procurement finance including management of net material inflation, CMA and savings
- Enable transformation of supply chain finance processes and drive simplification and transition to hubs
- Partner Market SC lead to identify cost savings opportunities and savings Financial Planning and Analysis
- Support strategic supply chain initiatives with financial analysis and modelling.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
You’re a born leader: Assist Product and Innovation Engineering Manager on capital, innovation, capacity, and value improvement projects in the Ice Cream category. Responsible for providing estimates, options assessment, and technical support for these projects. Carries out tasks related to project assessment, technical support and implementation with minimum supervision. Ensures compliance with Unilever Hygiene, equipment and safety standards, specifications, and best practices. This shall include formulation/process/equipment evaluations, industrial trials, preliminary engineering, project cost controls, timeline, establishment of commissioning plan, plant/equipment commissioning, production startup.
You’re a change maker: Our success is dependent on change, and the Product and Innovation Engineering Assistant role is a critical contributor to driving improvements against all business metrics (safety, quality, finance, innovation, etc).
You’re a dot connector: Liaison with all key stakeholders (departments) to ensure full alignment with project scopes, timelines, impact and key project milestones. This role has significant interaction with R+D, Marketing and the impacted facility teams.
