    Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces, SI has been responding to the needs of the population living in areas under Government control. While programming in 2022 and 2023 was—rightly—focused on immediate emergency response, the year 2024 marked a transition toward a more balanced approach, combining both emergency and early recovery interventions.SI’s main strategic objective for 2025 is to strengthen and clearly position its comparative advantage in Ukraine. The ambition is for SI to build a recognized and demonstrable expertise in WASH and Shelter. The program strategy for 2025 therefore focuses on two core sectors—WASH and Shelter—and is structured around two strategic axes: 1. Respond to both acute and chronic emergencies2. Contribute to creating the conditions for dignified return or sustainable stay in stable areas through a recovery-oriented approach To maximize the impact of its interventions, SI aims to further enhance sectoral integration and promote localized approaches.In 2026, SI’s country program in Ukraine is expected to operate with a budget of approximately 10 million euros, with three field bases (Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv), one coordination office in Kyiv, and a total of 110 staff, including around 20 expatriates.The main donors in 2026 will be, in order of funding volume: CDC, AFD, BHA, and ECHO. Additional donors have been approached to expand and diversify the portfolio further, in line with SI’s programmatic priorities.
    Oversees the CDCS/AFD funded project. Ensure Global coordination between SI, associated partners and key stakeholders. Provide a vision and develop an implementation strategy for the project. Ensure project is delivered on time, targets, budget and quality. Ensure compliance with donors’ rules and regulation. Ensure external represenation.

    PURPOSE OF POSITION
    You are responsible for an optimum of cleanliness and order as well as hygiene onboard to the fullest guest satisfaction in accordance with Viking China Outbound Standards.

    ASSIGNMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Daily cleaning of approximately 18 staterooms
    • Cleaning of public areas, toilets and reception area according to requirements
    • Correct handling of guest laundry
    • Control and distribution of externally cleaned laundry and uniforms
    • Correct and careful handling of all cleaning products, materials and housekeeping equipment
    • Rotating laundry duty incl. washing, ironing and folding activities
    • Distribution of daily programs, gift orders and turndown services in allocated staterooms
    • Welcoming and escorting guests to their staterooms on embarkation day
    • Checking and reporting technical defects of staterooms to the supervisor / reception
    • Luggage duty on embarkation and disembarkation day
    • Conduction of stock takes; inventory according to company procedures
    • Preparation of opening and closing ships at start and end of season
    • Assistance in other departments upon instruction from supervisors (if required)
    • Performance according to company standards and HACCP rules
    • Participation in loadings
    • Correct storage of stock; establishing of par levels
    • Active participation in onboard training programs

     

    DUTIES

    • The holder of the position undertakes not to pass over the company’s information, manuals, information on business developments and EDP data to any third party or publicize or retain same for personal use after leaving the job.
    • The company reserves the right to demand compensation for damages in the event of a breach of this instruction and take legal action against the staff.

    QUALIFICATION PROFILE

    • Min 2 years working experience in 4-5 Stars hotel.

About the job General objective: The Field Coordinator is in charge of the overall management of the field base, under the supervision of the Country Director and in close coordination with the Deputy Country Director for Programs, Security Coordinator, and Support Coordinators. She/He is in charge of the global strategy in the area of intervention of the field base.     SI will offer you A salaried position:According to experience, starting from EUR 3080 gross per month (2800 EUR base salary + 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly) and a monthly Per Diem of USD 700. SI also covers accommodation costs and travel expenses between the expatriate’s country of origin and the place of assignment. Breaks: During the assignment, a system of alternation between work and time off is implemented at the rate of 7 working days every three months (with a USD 850 break allowance, allocated by Sl). To these breaks periods, SI grants one (1) additional rest day per month worked. Insurance package: Expatriates benefit from an insurance package which refunds all healthcare expenses (including medical and surgical expenses, dental care and ophthalmological expenses, repatriation) and a welfare system including war risks. Essential vaccination and antimalarial treatment costs are refunded.   LIVING CONDITIONS: Accomodations in SI GH: fully equiped appartment in Dnipro city-center.
